 June 3rd 6:30pm Minster: 52nd Street, the music of Billy Joel

52nd Street Band is a full-scale, 6-piece, live concert show, re-creating the performances of arguably the greatest rock and roll keyboard player ever — the "Piano Man"... Billy Joel.

Led by the fantastically talented pianist, singer and showman, Dan Vechesky (Danny V), the 52nd Street Band is comprised of top NYC metro-area musicians driven to detail in re-creating Billy's music and live stage show. Touring nationally for over 20 years and counting, 52nd Street is the world's longest running tribute to Billy Joel, earning a reputation of rocking "A"-List venues from Hard Rock Cafe's to Trump & Harrah's Casinos to NYC Parades and Concert festivals and more. 52nd Street was even honored to open for Billy Joel himself at past tour pre-concert parties like Philadelphia's Wachovia Center Arena and Billy Joel's Broadway show smash, Movin' Out!  Billy Joel is a 6-time Grammy Award winner, has sold over 100 million records and is in both the Songwriters and Rock and Roll Halls of Fame. 52nd Street offers the best of Billy Joel, covering his entire career from the 70's, 80's and 90's.


June 8th 6:30pm New Bremen: Jamie Kent

Named by as an "Artist You Need To Know", and dubbed a "Must Watch Artist" by The Huffington Post, one might say the future of Jamie Kent looks quite promising. Drawing on influences from modern country rock artists like Jason Isbell and Will Hoge, as well as paying tribute to classic greats like Bob Dylan and Tom Petty, Kent’s perfectly mellifluous tunes are roll-the-windows-down, soak-up-some-sun kind of good. Kent has no fear of hard work, playing over 150+ shows a year including tours with Huey Lewis & The News, The Doobie Bros, America, Brothers Osborne, Brandy Clark, and Marc Broussard. Kent is supported by The Collective, an amazing grassroots group of fans who help advise and fund his career in exchange for access to exclusive music, merchandise, and vote in the major decisions he makes. He's officially endorsed by Durango Boots, BOSE and Telefunken Microphones, and his latest album "All American Mutt", debuted at #16 on the Billboard Top Country Albums Chart. Kent was the only independent artist to break into the Top 20.


June 17th 6:30pm New Bremen: Buzzard Kings

Four veteran rockers take the stage playing a variety of rock and roll music that all ages will enjoy.  Pulling inspiration from the great heartland music of Kansas City, the tradition of Memphis, the edge of Chicago and the charm of Nashville, the Buzzard Kings take you on a musical journey.

June 24th 6:30pm Minster: Sweet Beats

The Sweet Beats feature four of the most experienced Beatle musicians and actors in the United States. Dressed in original Beatles costumes and equipped with all of the original Beatles instruments the guys recreate Beatlemainia by performing hits like, She Loves You, I Want to Hold Your Hand, A Hard Day’s Night, Twist & Shout and more. The second set propels you into the mid to late 1960’s with hits including A Little Help from My Friends, Get Back, and Here Comes the Sun, Back in the USSR and more.


July 6th 6:30pm New Bremen: Hang Time

Playing music from the 1900's with a little bit of now.  With influences from The Beatles, Ray Lamontagne, Stevie Wonder and Amy Winehouse, Hang Time keeps the dance floor hopping. 

Stellar musicianship and killer vocals bring it all together.


July 15th 6:30pm New Bremen: Walt Schmitmeyer and the Moonlighters


The Village of New Bremen is excited to bring back Walt Schmitmeyer and the Moonlighters for the 2015 Concert Series.  Walt Schmitmeyer and the Moonlighters are well-known for their square dancing and waltz music.  It will be a fantastic time and all are encouraged to attend.


July 22nd 6:30pm Minster: Minster Mile and Adam “Bubs” Ranly


The Minster Mile is an event sponsored by 1Heart2Souls whose mission is to support parents who have been given a poor prenatal prognosis, have suffered the loss of an infant, or have received the news their newborn has a disability.  There will be a one mile walk/run to support the organization and music will be provided by Adam “Bubs” Ranly.


August 5th 6:30pm New Bremen: The Fries Band
"THE FRIES BAND" has become known as the premier vocal band in the Dayton area. They focus on very tight 3, 4, & 5 part vocal harmonies that are primarily driven by acoustic guitars with The Fries Band started out in 1989 as an acoustic trio called “The French Fries”, which consisted of 3 acoustic guitars and 3 vocals. Over the years the trio has evolved into the full band they are today. They have been entertaining all over the West Central Ohio area and beyond for the past 20 years with their unique and engaging treatment of popular and obscure cover songs from the 60’s, 70’s, and 80’s. They blend their complex vocal harmonies driven by acoustic guitars with keyboards, bass, and drums to re-create very distinctive musical arrangements of bands like Crosby Stills Nash & Young, America, The Beatles, Eagles, Jimmy Buffett, etc.  They have opened up for many national acts, such as: Foghat, Kansas, The Guess Who, Gladys Knight, Mick Fleetwood, Henry Lee Summer, The Dixie Dreggs, Martina McBride, 1964 as the Beatles, and many more.

August 12th 6:30pm Minster: Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, and Marilyn Monroe Tribute Band
Matt Snow is the longest consecutively-performing Frank Sinatra Tribute Artist around, doing his shows Live every month since June of 1971, in which he portrays a Sinatra-style character with a voice similar to the Chairman of the Board himself. Who else does over 300 Sinatra Songs?!? Matt will make over 200 appearances this year. He has performed for Millions of people on Television, in Film, on Radio, but mostly live in person, around the country and overseas. He recently did a 5 show stint in Las Vegas.


August 26th 6:30pm New Bremen: AC Swing


AC Swing, a band comprised of many talented local musicians, will once again be performing their big band style music at the Crown Pavilion.  Their well-known music has been enjoyed throughout the area for many years.  The New Bremen churches will be providing a free cookout an hour prior to this event as well as games and activities for the children.  We ask that you bring beverages and come prepared to enjoy a night of good fellowship and entertainment.
