In the fall of 1990, Ginny Winner opened the hair salon Hair Performers in the Pioneer Professional Center. Ginny continued ownership and operation of the salon until 2012, when Brooke Wente purchased the business.
In 2016, Brooke utilized New Bremen’s R/C Transition Zoning with the purchase of 406 S. Washington Street. In 2017, after a major renovation of the property, the business was relocated to the new facility and rebranded to Lather: A Hair Co. for Him & Her. Since opening the doors on Washington Street, the salon has expanded its services by also offering eyelash lift and tinting, brow tinting, body waxing and dermaplaning.
