Roll call showed the following members present for the meeting on this date at 6:30 p.m. at Police / EMS Training Room, Burnell, Kronenberger, Larger, Lomakin, Wuebker and Kuck. Also, present were Mayor Parker, Solicitor This, Fiscal Officer Speelman, Village Administrator Dicke and Chief Skinner.
Visitors attending were Brent Richter, Jerry McClannan from Mote and Associates, Corey Maxwell from The Evening Leading and Jeff Elking from The Daily Standard.
Mayor Parker swore in Chad Wuebker to fill the term vacated by Brent Richter.
Minutes from the November 23, 2020 regular meeting were approved. Motion by Kronenberger. Second by Larger. Five ayes. Wuebker abstained.
Mayor Parker’s Report:
- Fines, fees and forfeitures for November are $773.
- Thank You to Chris Dicke for her time and dedication to the village. Congratulations on your retirement!
Village Administrator Dicke Report:
- Thank you to everyone for my time here at the village!
- Traffic signal upgrade – made recent adjustments to the signals.
- Swimming Pool – Astro Pools has been at the pool pressure testing lines. Main line will not hold pressure, gutters are also leaking. Additional testing will need to be completed.
2021 Pool Management agreement with YMCA of Greater Dayton. No change from 2020 agreement. Management fee remains at $13,000.
First Reading Resolution 2020-12-15 2021 Management Agreement between Village of New Bremen and YMCA of Greater Dayton.
2020 appropriations were amended to include additional Cares Funds received. Total appropriations are $27,922,586.30.
Kronenberger made motion to suspend the rule. Second by Burnell. Declaring Emergency Ordinance 2020-12-20 Amend 2020 appropriations. Motion by Larger. Second by Kuck. Six ayes.

Table Third Reading Resolution 2020-11-12 Approve Cares Fund purchases. Motion to table by Larger. Second by Burnell. Five ayes. Wuebker abstained.
Third Reading Resolution 2020-11-13 Award salt bid contract to Artesian of Pioneer at a price of $134.25 per ton. Motion by Kuck. Second by Kronenberger. Five ayes. Wuebker abstained.
Larger made a motion at 6:47 p.m. to enter executive session to discuss personnel and property. Second by Kronenberger. Six ayes. Came out of executive session at 7:04 p.m.
