Start the new year off right by participating in the 2026 Cabin Fever Hike Series!
Get the whole family together for a winter hike along the Miami Erie Canal on Sunday, January 11th, 2026 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. This is a fun and FREE event for everyone – leashed pets are welcome as well! You may register at any time between 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Lockkeeper’s House (located at 22 S Water Street, New Bremen, Ohio). This is a fantastic opportunity to get out, shake off that cabin fever, work on your new year’s resolutions, all while enjoying the sights and sounds of winter along the Miami Erie Canal.
Additional hikes to follow for the 2026 Cabin Fever Hike Series are: Feb. 8th at the St. Marys Utilities Building, and March 8th and April 12th at Noble Township Hall. Mark your calendars now and invite family and friends to hike with you.
The 2026 Cabin Fever Hike Series is hosted by Heritage Trails Park District, Grand Lake Health System, Miami Erie Canal Corridor Association and St. Marys Area Resource Team.
