Home Repair financial assistance available through Auglaize County

Auglaize County has funds available for private owner rehabilitation and home repair assistance. Funding amounts are determined by housing needs assessed by the Rehabilitation Specialist at inspection.

Auglaize County has been a grant recipient of Housing Impact and Preservation Program (CHIP) funds since 1993 as well as a grant recipient of the Neighborhood Stabilization Program funds since 2009. Financial assistance for rehabilitation work is available to homeowners who reside in Auglaize County. Eligible homeowners can qualify to receive a declining/deferred loan with no interest and no monthly payments.

Rehabilitation work may include: roof repair/replacement, heating, plumbing, electrical, siding, windows, septic/well systems, and accessibility improvements.
