Roll call showed the following members present for the meeting on
this date at 6:30 p.m. Burnell, Schwartz, Richter, and Kuck. Parker
and Kronenberger were excused with a motion by Schwartz. Second
by Richter. Four ayes. Also present were Mayor Pape, Solicitor Smith
and Chief of Police Skinner. Fiscal Officer Speelman was absent.
Visitors were Jerry McClannan, Rob Fleming, Andrew Roiberg and Jeff
Elking representing The Daily Standard.
Minutes from the June 12 meeting were approved. Motion by Richter.
Second by Kuck. Four ayes.
Mayor Pape made the following announcements in his Mayor’s Report:
Fines, fees and forfeitures for May were $1,557.00.
Public Works and Electric Department held an Open House on
June 25. Thanks to all who attended and to the employees for
all their time in getting the buildings and equipment ready.

Congratulations to Linda Fortkamp on her retirement from the
village on June 30.
Village Administrator Dicke gave the following report:
Update on Police/EMS Building – In the next two weeks the
basement masonry walls will be completed, floors will be
poured and steel set.
Crack sealing is complete throughout the village.
Sanitary line at Eastmoor Dr. and State Route 274 is complete.
OPWC resurfacing grant will be awarded July 1.
ODOT – ramps on 274 need additional repairs. This will be
completed at no cost to the village.
