Roll call showed the following members present for the meeting on this date at 6:30 p.m. Burnell, Richter, Larger, Kuck, Kronenberger and Lomakin. Also, present were Mayor Parker, Solicitor This, Chief Skinner. Fiscal Officer Speelman and Village Administrator Dicke attended via phone.
Visitors were a representative from The Evening Leading. Jeff Elking representing The Daily Standard attended via phone.
Minutes from the March 9, 2020 meeting were approved. Motion by Richter. Second by Burnell. Five ayes. Kuck abstained.
Larger made a motion to approve total expenditures for March in the amount of $1,393,968.19 and total receipts for February were $1,902,595.56. Finance committee will review bank reconciliations for February once Governor DeWine’s lifts the Stay at Home order and committees meet in person. Second by Kuck. Six ayes.
Mayor Parker’s Report:
- Mayor met Village Administrator Dicke, Fiscal Officer Speelman and Chief Skinner today to discuss the village workforce needed to operate as an essential business. The village will continue to operate as normal with practices of social distancing, one employee to a truck, sanitizing equipment and high touch areas. Employees will take temperature before coming to work each day and will be ask to stay home if not feeling well.
Village Administrator Dicke Report:
- Franklin Ash St Reconstruction – Tom’s Construction will continue working during the Stay at Home Order. Infrastructure construction is considered essential.
- North Substation – Construction will be halted for the next two weeks. Completion date will be extended by two weeks.
Discussed Governor DeWine’s COVID-19 Stay at Home order through April 6, 2020. The village will continue normal operations as an essential employer. Continue practices of social distancing, one employee to a vehicle, sanitizing equipment and high touch areas. Employees will take temperature before coming to work each day and will be ask to stay home if not feeling well. We will continue to monitor daily and adjust as needed to ensure safety of employees and residents.
