New Bremen Shelter Houses

Celebrate the Things that Matter

In need of an event space for a family reunion, birthday party or wedding? The New Bremen parks have you covered — you’re welcome to hold your next event in one of the available shelter houses.

How to Rent a Shelter House

If you’d like to rent a shelter house, you can reserve one online. You’ll need to let the village know what you plan to use it for, as well as submit a fee for use of the space, which may be partially refundable depending on the shelter house. This will all be explained in detail in the rental agreement that you’ll need to sign.

We want to keep the shelter houses in good condition so everyone can enjoy them, so there are rules that you and your guests will have to follow. You’ll receive a full list of regulations when you sign the rental agreement, but here are some highlights:

  • Don’t remove or harm any property. This includes equipment, signs, rocks and plants.
  • No littering. Clean up the space after you’ve finished using it and don’t leave behind any waste.
  • Keep pets on a leash. You’re welcome to bring a pet to the parks, but they have to stay on a leash.
  • Remember the neighbors. Music is allowed, but there are limits to how loud it can be. Check your rental agreement for more information.

Instructions: On the reservation website, click “Facilities” in the navigation menu, select “Shelterhouse,” choose the facility you’d like to reserve and then select the date you wish to reserve. Available dates will show up with a green “Reserve” button.
